The UnMiracle stars Kevin Sorbo (Hercules, The O.C., God’s Not Dead), Stephen Baldwin (Faith of our Fathers, God’s Club, and The Usual Suspects), Mitch Johnston (Girl Meets World), Daniel Fissmer (Lincoln, Grimm) and Amy Lyndon (Ugly Betty, Law and Order: LA). The UnMiracle is the debut full-length project of writer and director, Andrew Papke.
“We are happy to share the message of The UnMiracle to a wider audience,” states Papke. “Our lives have a ripple effect to everyone around us. Our prayer is that the message of hope shared in the film will help everyone realize the unmiracles in their lives.”
Thus far, The UnMiracle has received the Faith-Based Dove Seal, and given a 4 Dove rating by the Dove Foundation.
The UnMiracle shares a series of seven storylines that are intertwined after the most popular girl in school experiences a drug overdose. It explores the aspects of honour, friendship, family, and faith. The premise of the movie is that often the greatest of God’s miracles often go unseen or unnoticed.
Faith Filled Family sat down with the writer and director, Andrew Papke to get his take on the movie. He discussed the thought process, inspiration, and what impact that he hopes the movie will have on families.
