This year, 69 artists were nominated in 23 categories

So far, Skillet and Unspoken are leading with 5 nominations each for the We Love Christian Music Awards with Andy Mineo, Danny Gokey, Tenth Avenue North, We Are Messengers and Switch are a close second with four nominations each. Sixty-two artists in total are being recognized.

The Together We Love Ceremony will be returning with a live broadcast from Visible Music College’s Memphis campus on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. will once again be presenting the We Love Christian Music awards celebrating the best Christian artists, albums and songs from 2019. Public voting is now open to fans worldwide to choose their favorite artists, albums, and songs up until January 31, 2020 at

“The field of artists at the top of their game this year was once again exceptional,” said NewReleaseToday and We Love Awards founder, Kevin McNeese. “Fans will have a blast rallying around their favorite artists they know and love while also discovering a lot of music they may have missed over the last twelve months.” 

Just last year, the We Love Christian Music Awards expanded their genre-specific category of Song Of The Year. This year, Rap/Hip Hop Song of the Year has been added. Song Of The Year will return with a more diverse selection of songs ranging from contemporary (Danny Gokey, “Haven’t Seen It Yet”), to worship (Switch, “Symphony”), rock (Switchfoot, “Native Tongue”), and pop (Unspoken, “Reason”).

The Mainstream Impact Award will return this year. Its purpose is to recognize Christian artists and mainstream artists that are impacting the world for Christ.

After voting closes on Friday, January 31, 2020, the focus will shift to the annual Together We Love Ceremony which celebrates winners and nominees with live performances, acceptance speeches and more. The ceremony will be held in Memphis, Tennessee at Visible Music College who is returning for the third year and an exclusive sponsor. The event will be broadcast over YouTube and Facebook Live.

Voting is now open at wherein fans can select their favorite artists in 23 categories as many times as they wish. Additionally, voters will be entered in a contest to win prizes, and a special song downloaded from Madison Line Records.
