Not sure what is going on with one of your kids? There may be something greater at play.

If Satan can’t get you, he will get you busy. If he can’t do that, then he will attack your kids. Don’t leave a loophole for him to get through! Your children belong to God- no one else- and you need to fight back against the wiles of the enemy.

Father and son praying

The Most frightening thing Is…

Simply, a parent that prays. Any parent. Although many joke about the “mama bear” being the toughest- especially when her “cub” is under attack, dads can be just as effective. It’s just a matter of passion and conviction.

So how do we get there?

Your prayers become a force to be reckoned with when a spark is ignited within you. It is something that powerfully rises up and yells, “Not MY kids! Hands off!”.

It is that moment that you know that you don’t have to tolerate Satan’s attack over your child– no matter how old they are. You are confident in your authority over the enemy, and you push back with prayer. This is when we see things move mightily.

It is the point when you have had enough, and you know your authority. Sometimes, it’s out of a place of desperation. Either way, you end up putting Satan in his place. God then moves mightily over a situation.

Don’t think things will change with your kids overnight, though.

Sometimes things take a while. But don’t think that just because you aren’t seeing things in the natural, that God isn’t moving. Many things happen supernaturally before we even see the manifestation. Also, some things require prayer and fasting before we see a breakthrough.

But as long as it is one of God’s promises, then stand and proclaim scripture over your kids. Things will turn.

Kathy McBroom discusses how you can tell if the enemy is attacking your children. Sometimes, we think that what they are going through is just a “phase”, but in reality, it may be an attack. You just haven’t realized it yet.

Kathy also talks about the purpose behind it- why our kids- and the basic prayers that every parent should pray over them. She will discuss what should be prayed into their lives such as godly friends, good grades, future spouse, etc.
