TBN Announces Good Friday- Worldwide

Tens of millions of Christians will not be able to attend church this weekend due to the COVID-19 virus. However, TBN has created the perfect solution for this dilemma.

On Good Friday, April 10th at 8/7 p.m. central, viewers can tune in for Good Friday- Worldwide with Chris Tomlin and Max Lucado. This one-hour program features Tomlin leading worship, followed by a sermon from New York Times bestselling author, Max Lucado. Guest appearances will be by Pat Barrett, We The Kingdom, and Matt Maher.

The broadcast event will be audio live-streamed on K-LOVE and Air1 Radio Networks. It will be available for streaming on TBN’s mobile and TV apps.

Chris Tomlin is one of the most renowned singer-songwriters worldwide. His work includes 12 albums, 16 #1 radio singles, a Grammy, an American Music Award, 3 Billboard Music Awards, 21 Dove Awards, and BMI Songwriter of the Year. Additionally, he has two platinum and five gold albums, along with eight million albums sold.

“‘Good Friday Worldwide’ is happening, and I am so excited,” said Tomlin. “We are going to gather people around the world and while we can’t be together physically for the safety of our families and of the world, we can worship together in our homes.”

Max Lucado is the Teaching Minister at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, TX. He is one of the most well-known Christian authors of his time, and has done several children’s videos. Lucado has sold over 100 million books.

“We have a rare opportunity to come together this Good Friday as one church to celebrate the one true God,” Lucado commented. “Join us as we proclaim the victory that no virus can touch–the redemption of our souls.”

Good Friday-Worldwide will air in countries across the globe such as in the U.S., U.K., Spain, Africa, and more will be added throughout this week.
