Series creator, Dallas Jenkins, signs with UTA for another season of The Chosen. This global hit series regarding the life of Jesus will begin shooting its next season in Texas, today.

Jenkins chose UTA to represent him and to help the series reach other media outlets. The series has almost 400 million views globally. It is the first multi-season series illustrating Jesus’ life. The series itself is dramatic, humorous, and inspiring. It brings Jesus’ ministry to life from the viewpoint of those who knew Jesus best.
“After some career disappointments, I didn’t think I’d ever care about or pursue agency representation again,” Jenkins commented. “I just wanted to focus on making content and reaching as many people as possible with it. The reason UTA overcame my reluctance is they’re clearly going to allow my team and me to be even more focused on the content while they do the work in areas where I’m weak or inexperienced. Their relentless support of their clients is going to allow for even more reach.”
What Can Be Expected for the Next season of the Chosen?
The Chosen’s team is creating a state-of-the-art complex in North Texas for the production process. This includes a first-century Bible set for shots in the upcoming season.
The Chosen has already gone through two seasons with unprecedented success. When asked what Season Three held, Jenkins commented that it will be emotionally intense. The season contains more of a backstory between those who knew Him, and Jesus, himself. It will also include more new famous people found in the Gospels.
The season highlights Eden and Simon’s marriage. Jenkins proudly claims that people cried through the writing of this season. This is how impactful it will be.
The Chosen can be watched for free. Fans have the option to “pay it forward” by funding their seven seasons. Season four is currently looking for funding.
